Trip Start

Our adventure begins on Thursday, May 4, 2023. After a group transfer from the airport and leisurely morning boat ride, you'll have the afternoon to acclimate. 

Arrival Airport

The closest airport is Copenhagen Airport (CPH), a 20-minute drive from the hotel. Copenhagen is has frequent daily flights from major European hubs, as well as direct international flights from San Francisco (10hr, 40min), Los Angeles (11hr, 10min), Chicago (8hr, 15min), Washington (8hr), New York (7hr, 40min) and Boston (7hr, 40min).

We recommend departing Boston on the flight Scandinavian Airlines SAS 928 / SK 928 landing in Copenhagen CPH Airport at 6:45 AM on May 4th.

Transfer from Airport

We will provide a group transfer from the airport to the hotel for all guests arriving on the recommended flight.

Pre-Arrival Accommodations

We stay in a unique, in-demand hotel on this trip—rooms go fast and daily rates change frequently. If you plan to arrive in Copenhagen prior to the beginning of our journey, we recommend staying at 25 Hours Hotel Indre By (see Our Accommodations), which is also our meeting spot on Day One. Please contact Heather Frahm if you’d like to make pre-trip night accommodations and room upgrades. We will try to avoid unnecessary room changes, allowing you to stay in the same room from start to finish—however, please note that this is not always an option and room types vary and are subject to change.

If our hotel is booked, we also recommend the Hotel Sanders, The Socialist, Nobis Copenhagen. All hotels are close to central Copenhagen's shopping, dining and entertainment.

Trip End

We end our trip—after three days of exploration, connection, and delicious food and drink—in Copenhagen on Sunday, May 7, 2023. 

If you've opted for the Dragsholm Castle extension (details here), your trip will conclude on Tuesday May 9th, 2023.

Transfer to Airport

After breakfast, we'll plan a group transfer to the Copenhagen airport. If you would like to be included in this transfer, your flight home should be scheduled to depart at 2pm or later. 

If you are extending your trip on our optional Dragsholm Castle extension, we will provide complementary transfer to the castle.
